End of the Second Marking Period

Hampton students are excited about the end of the second marking period on January 17th since they get a half day and also because it’s the start of a fresh school season.  The reason we start and end marking periods is to show how students do between different marking periods to see what our grades are and what we could improve on.
This brings upon new opportunities between marking periods to improve our grades which could bring part of the joy of starting a marking period.
 “I like the end of the marking period because we get a half day,” said Dane A.
